The BlackBerry 8830 World Edition is definitely designed for business people on the go. In fact, it claims to be “the first CDMA smart phone capable of roaming globally on GSM/GPRS networks”. This means you can pretty much travel the world without having to change your phone, your phone number, or your e-mail.
The 8830 has this tiny track-ball mouse for interface that is reminiscent of Atari’s Centipede video game. Just to reiterate a point, the BlackBerry 8830 is for businesspeople. There is no camera, but there is a microSD. That SD is tough to access, as a user must remove the entire battery cover to get to it. However, everything else works like clockwork once you get used to it.
Nothing screams class quite like plastic painted to look like wood. It just instantly makes everything look nicer. Sure, they could have used real wood, but that would make the speakers cost more. Plus plastic is just cooler. These block speakers look like a miniature version of a set of massive speakers. If you have a thing for vintage looking speakers, then you’ll be able to get your hands on these at an affordable rate. These come in pairs and will plug into all sorts of things. Be it an iPod or even some cheap MP3 player, these speakers aren’t really picky.
Logitech doesn’t just make speakers and mice, you know. The computer peripheral company also has interests in other devices such as webcams as well as remote controls, and they have come up with some pretty interesting devices from both camps in the past. Well, today is another of such moments when Logitech has rolled out their Harmony 300 remote control which is touted to be the most basic model from them just yet. After all, it is a snap to set up (at least according to Logitech), and can replace up to four other remotes in your house in order to provide you with a much better control over other devices connected to your TV with but a single button press. Setting up your remote control is a snap – you are able to reach your favorite entertainment in just a single button press. The Watch TV button will turn on your TV and cable box in seconds without the need for any remotes, making it dummy proof even for grandpa. Apart from that, all buttons are specially placed to be within easy reach and sculpted to cater to your fingers naturally. For instance, all buttons to control your DVD player is grouped together, while another set of programmable buttons allows you to jump right to your favorite channels or use for custom control.

When Apple announced video capability in the iPod Nano and a video camcorder in the iPhone 3Gs, Cisco saw a dramatic increase in YouTube video uploads. And as such, they saw the handwriting on the wall. Sure, the Flip has the edge with HD, but to have an all in one solution with the iPhone has forced Cisco, the new owners of Flip Video, to get working on a response. And to that end, they&rsquove announced that the next model of the phenomenally successful Flip Video Pocket Camcorders will come with built in Wi-Fi. But that’s not all.
In addition to being able to transfer video wirelessly, new Flip models will also have double the onboard memory (although they should just bite the bullet and put in an SD card already) a larger screen which will slide up to reveal control buttons, and have the capability to not only upload to YouTube, but also direct Facebook uploads via the wireless connection.
The first model to get the Wi-Fi overhaul will probably be the MinoHD line and rumor has it we’ll see an actual mockup of it at CES this January.
You know, I rather like a feature war between Cisco and Apple brewing. It only means that the consumer will be the ultimate winners. Who knows, maybe we’ll see a new iPhone with HD capability
Here are plenty of squishy and even oddly shaped wrist rests out there to alleviate the pressure off of your wrists. Yet how many actually have lots of little massaging balls. With this your wrists will receive a miniature massage every single time you slide the mouse around. Of course you may prefer the squishy feel of the other rests, but for those that would like to try something new, this is definitely different. The Ergo roller is pretty basic stuff. It’s just a few metallic balls attached to a plastic base. The base holds it there, but the balls themselves are free to move around.
While you’re sitting at your computer and don’t have anything better to do, you might as well whiten your teeth. It might save those of you that are coffee addicts from having slightly yellow teeth. It’d also be great for smokers out there or pretty much anyone who is just looking a little yellow. The strong blue light will make you bright white and shiny in no time at all.
It works by using a strong blue light that activates the whitening gel and oxidizes the pigment of the teeth through dentin tubes. The whole process takes about 30 minutes. It’s a much more in depth process than the usual methods like special toothpaste and gooey treatments you put on at night.
Bullet Space Pen writes underwater
It not only looks like a bullet, but it can manage to write under conditions that a normal pen wouldn’t survive. All of that is thanks to a special cartridge that’s placed in all Fisher pens including this one. That cartridge was designed to be used in the zero gravity environments while in space. It can write at absolutely any angle, including upside down and is capable of writing while you’re underwater. Now if only you could get your notepad to survive underwater. It can also write on top of grease and oil and when it’s dealing with extreme temperatures. The specialized thyrotrophic ink can also write three times longer than if you were using just normal ink.
