It was one of those events for which all the students wait with bated breaths, when the certificate of their toil is awarded to them and their untiring efforts are recognized by one and all, the day when they make their parents, mentors and friends proud. It was the day when the second Conference was held on Friday , the 21 st of October , 2005 in the sprawling campus of IIIT-A.

The time of the year when the students are tested for their knowledge and competence was marked with the arrival of the exams beginning 7 th of December. The inherent tension and anxiety was apparent with everyone drowned deep into books- some of us still searching for relevant notes and rounding up the teachers' cabins to escape the last minute jitters. An interesting period indeed, for all the IIITians and the faculty who looked forward to scrutinize the performance of all the students and how well their efforts paid off.
