I proud to be an Indian,
What if I prefer pizza Italian,
What if I prefer Russian Lenin,
I proud to be an Indian.

What if we every third person in metros,
Is thriving for foreign jobs and sentros.
What if after 66 years of independence,
We give foreign lifestyle our predominance.

What if we get to see beurocrates cutting ribbons,
And giving lectures on patriotism,
What if next day they are in limelight ,
For having foreign bank balance and possessing favouritism.

But how does it matters much,
What if I dream an American job and to be treated like American,
After all, I proud to be an Indian.
