An Atheist Note

by Syed Qaiser Mehdi Rizvi
B.Tech. 5th Sem, IIIT-Allahabad

A normal human child just accepts the religion taught to him by his family and spends a life time with it without even questioning .
In todays material world we see the trend in which youth tends to move towards money rather than the Almighty. Society implants the idea that the those who aren’t religious enough are bad and should be shunned.
Let us think and talk , without bringing anything initially taught to us and not letting our individual beliefs come in between this .
Rationally speaking all religions bear promise of a better after life, tell me any other reasons why people try to do good .one that is pious and has done good things and avoided the bad things is supposedly betteroff than others .
The problem with the concept of a better after life is that it has been decided by all the ‘pious’ people.
They one day decided we are better than others so we shall be gifted and if that was enough they also declared and all of you who are wrong shall be punished.
Sheesh … when you think about it practically it sounds weird and wrong.
Then why not drop all beliefs … ahh there is a problem in worshiping money.
The questions such as why are we here? what is the purpose of our life?
What will happen to me when I die?
If this was the only reason the only question which next arises if money overcame death will organized religions fall???
Maybe isn’t it already in the state of falling ?
Haven’t our priorities changed?
So the sleeping atheist in all of is rising isn’t it ?
