TELEPATHY : A Silent Non-Technological Communication

Telepathy!! What a fiction freak? This is what most of you all would be thinking while reading this article. Am I right? If no, then sure you are my supporter for this topic. And if yes, then people it’s just the time to know that this is not any fictional term anymore. It’s the reality that has been confirmed by science by undergoing some strict experiments. Basically Telepathy relates to the communicating of information through the use of thoughts. It is a mind-to-mind communication. It does not involve any direct and indirect physical activities and movements for the communication. FWH Myers coined the word in 1882 as the result of investigation by Gurney, Sidgwick and Prof. Barrett into the possibilities of thought transference. It was used to describe as "transmission of thought independently of the recognized channels of sense."

Have you ever perceived the strange feelings of knowing about the other’s happenings that are far apart (specially within familiar peoples), like he/she being sick, injured or the person missing you? Surely you all must have undergone this kind of feeling at least once in your life. This, in my simple terminology, is what telepathy is. Even some unauthentic sources say that NASA had send in it’s space rocket a special capsule that contains a plant that is believed to possess telepathic powers. According to a belief in Brazil, wives used to pray to plant to communicate to their husbands the daily requirements of the household who have gone to their work. The husbands when returning just bring those items on their own. So, going by this belief NASA puts that plant in the case when every technology fails in the space the astronauts could contact by this medium.

Experiments conducted by Duane & Behrendt, 1965; Targ & Puthoff, 1974; Puthoff & Targ, 1976; Radin & Nelson, 1989; Grinberg-Zylberbaum et al, 1994; Bierman & Radin, 1997; Gao, 2000; Wackermann et al, 2003, confirms the existence of telepathy. In the experiment conducted by Grinberg-Zylberbaum pairs of subjects were first said to meditate together. After this they were put into special chambers. Two EEG machines registered their EEG activities. One individual of each pair was shown 100 flashes at random intervals resulting in an evoked photosimulation response. It was observed that, when the stimulated individual showed distinct evoked potentials, the non-stimulated individual showed transferred potentials similar to the evoked potentials in the stimulated individual. At the same time, both felt that their interactions had been successfully completed. In another experiment conducted by Wackermann in 2003 six channels electroencephalogram (EEG) were recorded simultaneously from pairs of separated human beings in two shielded rooms. In the experiment, the correlations between brain electrical activities of two spatially separated human beings were observed using a more complex method of data analysis. Since the soundproof chambers in the above experiments separated the persons, these experiments guarantee that neither sensory signals nor electromagnetic signals is the means of communication, and thus strictly confirms the existence of communication between human brains i.e. telepathy.

Recently Gao Shan gave Quantum Model of Telepathy. This model basically include three phases:-

Phase I : Form the quantum entanglement state of brains. This is generally achieved by meditation or other interaction between individuals.

Phase II : Hold entanglement state of brains. This is done by individuals feeling other’s presence at a distance.

Phase III : Collapse the entanglement state of brains. In this stimulation causes telepathic communication between individuals.

Telepathy, now being recognized poses itself as a totally new mode of communication. Just think that you are at a very far off place and you want to communicate to your boss about the present deal going on and take his valuable guidance. With telepathy you can communicate your boss without knowing of the customer and make the deal a big success! Telepathy can also be used very effectively for the military purpose, as this is a form of silent communication. In case of hidden attacks on the terrorist base camps this silent communication is very effective to give and receive orders. The future of telepathy is the TECHLEPATHY. Techlepathy can be understood as a combination of technology and telepathy. With the use of techlepathy you will be able to control equipments. The equipments will work on the basis of your telepathic signals.

Although telepathy is often criticized about its various misuses like , but personally with this new mode of communication developing it offers increased interactivity with the rest of the world. In actuality telepathy provides us a medium for coming close to one another. Thus telepathy provides us a hope of an interconnected future for ourselves.
