Commemoration of Mahatma Gandhi and Inaugural of New Boys Hostel

On 30th Jan 2007 the great Mahatama was once again remembered for his ideals and his contribution to the making of new India. Director Mr. M.D. Tiwari gave his speech on this day and revoked within the students Gandhigiri with new enthusiasm. The chief guest of this particular occasion was Mr. K. L. Sharma. He also enlightened the students with his great speech. On this particular occasion a two minute silence was maintained to show the respect towards the father of the Nation.

This day also marked the inauguration of New Boys Hostel. Situated close to Old boys Hostel, New Boys hostel has a great panoramic view of temples on two sides and view of beautiful buildings of IIITA on other side.

Lecture by Dr. Kanjan Watanasuntorn from Thailand on organizational and project evaluation

On 27th Jan 2007 Dr. kanjan enlightened the students of IIITA with her interactive talk regarding evaluation systems. Students came to know about multi dimensional aspect of this particular topic and solved their queries with her.

Republic day celebration

This great day of Indian history was celebrated and rejoiced by the whole IIITA family. 26th Jan saw the great enthusiasm of students. Director Dr. M D Tiwari hosted the Indian flag and gave a short speech regarding the importance of this day in everyone’s life.

Saraswati puja held at IIITA

23rd Jan saw the institute family club Maitri Club helding up Saraswati puja on this auspicious day. Staff members with their families and students marked this puja with their presence.

Guest Lecture on Research and M S opportunities in GIST, South Korea

On 10th Jan 2007 Mr. Manoj Kr. Singh, a research scholar in Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology, Gwangju, South Korea delivered a lecture on Research and M S opportunities in GIST, South Korea. He also brought some software for electronic circuit simulation which can be used by IIITA for various researches.

6th Jan: on this day, Prof. S. K. Kak, Professor, Dept. of Electronics Engg., Institute of Technology, BHU, Varanasi delivered a talk on " Technology Management".
