Astrology- A Science

Astrology as we all know is an ancient science
probably the first ever to gain global recognition. The biggest
implication that it faces in today’s world is that the majority
of the population doesn’t look at it as a science rather as a
pass time or something for fun or they are too scared about it
to even get associated with it.
The purpose of this article is to clear some
myths about astrology. To start with, it is a science, like
other sciences it is for the benefit of the humanity though in
its own occult way. To understand it we must acknowledge the
fact that we are an entity of this universe and we all are
affected by each other .The bigger the entity the bigger is its
impact on us whether it is human, a corporation or a planet
.Astrology helps to understand the effects of the planets on us.
It shows us the path to lead our life on so that
we can get the desired or best possible outcome from it. Take
for example that if in someone’s horoscope it shows that the
person is prone to diabetes then if that person resists himself
from sugar then probably he will never get diabetes. Similarly
by looking at a horoscope it can be said which profession or
line of study a person should take so that he could perform his
best. Every one can not be the best at every thing he does and
he could be misguided by the prevailing social environment and
could choose the wrong path where he may not be able to perform
(consider profession), this is where astrology could come into
play- as a GUIDE.
Some people believe that astrology can tell us
the geo political situation of the countries simply by making
its horoscopes .I believe that it is totally a false practice.
We should try to understand that astrology existed from the time
when no boundaries divided the land. For making horoscopes of
the country date of independence is considered as the date of
birth …..that is the time when the land was divided. Now if we
consider the kargill war there too we lost the land then why not
that time should be considered as new DOB or(sorry to say)
independence day and make a new horoscope ,or why not give away
some more land on an auspicious day so that we could get a
better horoscope for our country.
What I want to emphasize here is that astrology
is only for the humans and it helps to understand the affects of
planets on seven ‘chakras’ of our body.
Because of some wrong practices by few we tend to
believe that our future is fixed by god and astrology helps us
to know that- and if that is the case why should we go for it or
what is the role of ‘karma’. Here again I would like to tell
that according to astrology nothing is fixed and the role of
‘karma’ is there .Astrology helps us to know the path on which
on which we should perform our deeds---------What if you are a
hard working guy but you are trying to grind fruit juice from a
computer, would that be considered a good or a logical ‘ karma’
.
The biggest problem arises among the believers
and practitioners .Lot of us do not get satisfied with the so
called ’good astrologers’. Here we should try to understand that if a
person is not able to solve your problem then probably he is not
a ‘good’ one .In this case the problem is not with the science
it is the people who practice them.
