Playing Safe: Is it really safe

Now days most of the people want to be safe. They want complete security either in physical or mental terms. It’s now more like a tradition or predefined norm to attain safety anyhow regarding the jobs, relationships and money etc. All of the above, we can say that they play it smart.

But is it right to be on safe side always? It may be right for a person who is playing safe but it may not safe for others. We can take the example of cricket here, if a player plays slow and safe to score high just to remain in the team for next match that is safe side for that player but that is not going to benefit the team anyway. Being physically safe is always good for every body but when people start thinking safe thoughts then it becomes harmful for whole mankind.

Here question arise that “what is safe thinking?” The answer is that the safety in thoughts refers to reserve nature of thinking or a traditional way of thinking. When people don’t want to come up with a new idea or when there is no innovation in thinking but they just want to follow the tradition or predefined path.

The main reason for this type of behavior is the risk associated with it. No body wants to take risk. But there is also a big risk for whole world if people don’t start innovative thinking.

Today if we are here in science, technology or in spiritualism, then it is only due to the persons like Albert Einsteen, Mahatma Gandhi, Dr B R Ambedkar, Nelson Mandela etc. These people actually preferred to think outside the box. These were the persons who thrive on change and newness.

These people explore new ideas, they come up with innovations. Actually they want some changes in traditional system and due to which they are not supported by the masses. They have to face lot of chaos and anger. Because the people who are safe thinkers become angry and terrified at these new innovative thinkers. They don’t want to let them think in this way and try to make a storm of repulsiveness to stop them.

Today we need the people who can take risk and change the world with their beautiful ideas, with their exceptional minds and capabilities. And yes these people are no one else but they are among us, they are our teenagers and younger adults. And we have to help them to rise and raise the world in their hands because you know that blind obedience is no longer a safe option.

They are ready for trying a lot of new ideas. But it never means that they are rebels and we should dominate them. They are the ambitious visionaries who perceive something beyond where we stand today.

But I am not talking here about the teenagers who often think that by doing something exceptional i.e. bad dressing, strange behavior they will be considered as brave and different. This is not a revolution. They are not making a point they are not changing the world, they are just attracting others towards them.

Everybody may have a different idea on being safe but we know that the time is high now and we should not care for others. Just believe on god and do something in favor of humanity because it is better to dedicate your life in the name of equality and love than in killing in the name of God.
